MIT四谷三丁目ビル一階に店舗移転が決まっている荒木町の『の弥七』さんへ。店主『山本眞也』さんが心を込めて一品一品 丁寧に造られたご馳走が詰め込まれた玉手箱である『御弁當』に合わせ『美丈夫』の純米吟醸酒でゆるゆるとスタートした休日の昼下がり。先付で供された『焼胡麻豆腐』はふわふわの食感にピリッと効かされた『山椒』の香味が食欲中枢を刺激してくれます。主役の松花堂型の『御弁當』の中には北海道産の立派な『ボタン海老』の老酒漬に『生海胆』と『卵黄』の味噌漬、ねっとりと舌に絡みつく海老に明礬の存在を感じさせぬ生海胆、二つの味を繋ぐ濃厚な味わいの卵黄、そして蒸したて熱々の『海老餃子』と『海鮮焼売』の点心二種がこれまた美味。口の中でプリッと弾ける海老と広がる貝柱の旨味、使われている素材の良さを感じさせてくれる誤魔化しのない味わいです。ツブ貝の旨煮、ホタル烏賊に菜花に黄身酢、出汁巻き玉子と和食を彷彿させるラインナップも玉締油か太白胡麻油の隠し味の香味が中華であることを忘れさせぬ味わいと自家製のピリ辛の腸詰や叉焼は中華でありながら和のエッセンスを感じさせてくれる絶妙な味わい。釜炊きと思しき銀舎利と相性抜群の『麻婆豆腐』。肉は一般的な挽き材のミンチ肉ではなくトロトロになるまで良く煮込まれた『牛すじ』が味に深みを齎せダイス状の近江蒟蒻(赤蒟蒻)が佳き食感のアクセント。副菜の香の物も手抜かりなく青さ海苔を使った玉子スープも『上湯』の質感の高さを感じさせてくれる美味しいものでした。食後に供された『杏仁豆腐』はなめらか。和洋折衷という言葉だけでは単に終わらされることの出来ぬ味わいに久々に感動を覚えた次第。
