魚好きにはオススメの店です。山口の地酒とじっくりやれる佳店。
刺身のコスパが良すぎて他に多くを食べていないのが残念ですが、刺身・焼き物・煮物・揚げ物と料理の選択には事欠きません。
某日は
刺身盛合せを少量で盛り合わせてもらったが、少量だというのに黒ムツ、ヒラゾ(ヒラマサ)、サワラ、サバ、鯨、タコ、ウスバハギと皮湯引きの8点盛り。
三食が刺身でも構わない呑助と言えども一人でこの分量は嬉しくも大変(笑)
盛合せは1800〜2500円とありますがいずれにせよ素晴らしいネタと仕事に大満足。
下関が近いせいもあるからか、いい鯨が並んでいるけど生姜醤油でヅケにすると甘みが激増!
昭和世代に取っては何物にも代えがたい味ですな。
ビールは最初だけで日本酒に突入。
何か地物のアテはないかとおねだりすると優しい大将が「私の賄い」のハズだったウスバハゲのアラを出してくれました。
刺身用に身欠きを済ませサッとボイルして冷やしていたもの、これをポン酢でいただきます。
いやぁ、肉でも何でも骨廻りは美味いという定説通りの味で大満足。
雁木がすすむわ〜
再訪時にはまた刺身盛合せでお願いすると7種刺身(鯨、皮付平政、鰹、炙り鰆、栄螺、タコ、〆鯖)がドーンとお出迎え。
変わらない質とパフォーマンスに更に満足度がマシマシです。
写真を見ればおわかりのとおり、一切れの切り身も大きいし、包丁の入れ方もよい。
皮付きのヒラマサなんてねえ。カツオの鉄分を感じる美味さもいうことなしです。

コースもあるようですが、ある程度人数が揃わないと勿体ないでしょうね。
