こんな場所にお店があるなんて…地元の情報紙を見て知った「山菜料理 みたき園」。
山の奥の緑の自然の中にポツンと一店。
広い庭の中を軍鶏が走り回り、滝の音や小川のせせらぎの1/fゆらぎで癒しを感じさせる。
実はこのお店、ビブグルマンも取っているらしいけど、料理の美味しさと言うより心のこもった料理が特徴だと思う。いちいち食材も自分で育て、茶畑も持ち、豆腐やこんにゃくはもちろん朝イチから手作り、出汁も一から手間をかけている。
ここで出されるお料理は、山菜やその朝作った手作り豆腐、こんにゃくなどを中心とした自然のものだけの料理。
今回はコース料理の「杉(税込4400円)」を当日予約。これは真ん中のコースで、上のコースにはジビエが入る。
基本は前日までに予約をしないとダメなのだが、ダメ元で投日予約してみたら入れてくれるという事でラッキー。
でも、良い子は前日までに予約してね。
お通しは煮物で「高野豆腐、昆布、蕗、干し大根、人参」から始まり、数々の前菜として「山菜盛り合わせ」、「自家製蒟蒻(塩味、味噌味)」、「自家製豆腐」、「百合根入り茶碗蒸し」、などが出る。揚げ物として「山菜の天ぷら(イタドリ、茶そば、蓬の葉など)」は塩味でいただく。
「虹マスのお造り」はお醤油でいただく。…山奥の川を感じる一品。
そしてこれがメインかな?…「ヤマメの味噌だれ焼き(これは塩のほうが僕的には良かったなぁ)」
〆の「炊き込みご飯の具は揚げと椎茸」、「味噌汁はぜんまい等山菜が入り」「白菜のお新香」が付く。
水菓子は自家製の「梅ゼリー」…
全てが素朴に美味しく、自然のチカラを体に取り込む感じがする。
日頃の華美な食事を振り返る機会にもなる。
年取ったのかな…こう言うのが、妙に嬉しいし、すごく有難い。
寒さの厳しい12月〜3月までは毎年休業期間。4月に再開し、今がとても良い季節かも。
こりゃ、また来ないといけなくなったかも。
