今夜は地下鉄有楽町線の新富町駅から程近い義常にお邪魔した。
引き戸を開けると右側が厨房でその前にカウンター9席、
店中央から左側に4人用テーブル6つ、2人用テーブル2つ。
我々6名はテーブル席に案内される。
酒はホッピー白(420円)をオーダー。
価格は税抜き価格。
最初は中焼酎が少な目だったが
途中から男性店員さんが濃い目に入れてくれるようになったのは嬉しかった。
さて料理だが焼鳥屋さんなので先ずは焼鳥をコース(1300円)でお願いした。
突出しは焼鳥屋さんの定番である大根おろしにうずらの卵。
先ず1本目はささみ。
パサつきの無いしっとりとしたささみで美味。
2本目はレバー。
中がトロリとした絶妙な焼き加減で美味。
3本目は砂肝。
シャクシャクとした食感がありながらも柔らかで美味。
4本目はもも。
プリプリ&ジューシーでこれも美味。
5本目はつくね。
パサ付きが無くこれも見た目どおりの美味しさ。
卵黄に付けて食べてみたい。
6本目はたまご。
うずらの卵は中がもっと半熟だったら尚良かった。
7本目は丸ハツ。
丸って何だろ?
これも焼き加減が絶妙でプリプリとして美味。
焼鳥はメニュー通りの順番で出て来た。
最初は失礼ながら大して期待していなかったがとても美味しかった。
これに〆の鳥スープがついて税込み1404円はコスパが高い。
焼鳥以外の料理は水茄子のおかか和え(480円)、枝豆(580円)、
ゲソのガーリック炒め(580円)、玉ねぎステーキ(480円)、白レバーソテー(580円)、
みょうがきゅうり(480円)、そして誰かが頼んだ焼きおにぎり茶漬け(580円)。
特に玉ねぎステーキが思いのほか美味しくてビックリ。
焼いて甘みの出た玉ねぎに醤油ベースのソースがよく合う。
酒はホッピーの後は玉露ハイ(380円)をひたすら飲んだ。
呑兵衛の集まりなのにボトルを取らずにショットで飲んでいたから
お会計が一人5000円近くになってしまった。
次回はボトルを取って美味しい焼鳥を堪能したいと思う。
