東京出張時に得意先の部長と一緒にうかがいました。赤坂のビルの地下にあるお寿司屋さんです。お店に入るとすぐに白木のカウンターがあり、奥には座敷もあるようです。
まずは酒肴をおまかせでお願いして、生ビールで乾杯しました。
前菜につづいて真鯛のお刺身、のどぐろのみりん焼きと出されていきます。のどぐろはお皿にのっているごま塩でいただきます。旨い。たまらず冷酒をお願いしました。鰤の刺身(大トロ)は大根おろしでいただきます。お酒が進みます。さらに毛蟹とウニ、白子とつづきます。どちらも見ただけで美味しいことがわかる一品です。口に入れた瞬間に幸せを感じることのできる味です。なまこ、背黒鰯と日本酒によく合う酒肴が出されていきます。このペースで飲んでいるとお寿司に辿り着く前にへべれけになってしまいそうです。
このタイミングで出される白魚の卵とじがホッとする味わいです。
大将の「そろそろ握りましょうか」の言葉でおすしのスタートです。
握りはさよりの昆布〆、平目の昆布〆(写真撮り忘れ)、しんこ、〆鯖、真鰯、赤貝、鮪(漬け)、鮪(大トロ)、イカ、甘えびの昆布〆、卵焼き、いくら、ウニ、煮穴子といただきました。大トロはムチャクチャ甘く、口の中で溶けていきます。真鰯も口の中で溶けてなくなったのは驚きで感動ものでした。柔らかさでは煮穴子も負けていませんし、甘さではウニも絶品の甘さでした。
これだけ美味しいお寿司は久しぶりにいただきました。感動です。
今回ご一緒した部長は僕が食べログに投稿しているのをご存知なので、毎回良いお店に案内していただけるのですが、今回話を伺って先方にはかなりのプレッシャーになっていることを知りました。個人的には美味しいお酒をいただけるところであれば、どこでも良いのですが…。
今回はあまりに美味しくて思わず呑み過ぎてしまいました。ごちそうさまでした。
