送別会宴会
震災影響で人事が一箇月遅れて、五月二日着任における異動があり送別会を実施.全く歩んできた人生は違うけど僕の同級生が異動となり悲しく寂しいひと時である.送別会場は本人の昔からの腐れ縁である新橋駅土橋口ガード下にある金太郎を指名.金太郎は同級生の新橋の根城でもあるが、学生時代の野球の仲間が店をやっている.十八時半より宴会開始で、他にも二名程も社内だが異動する.三人の送別会だ!挨拶も無事終わり、瓶麦酒で乾杯.料理が続々と運ばれて来て、皆料理を食べ始め、呑み始める.
最初にやって来たのがレタスとトマト、胡瓜が山の様に積まれ中華ドレッシングに浸りパリパリした何だが解らないフライドしたのが全体に振り掛かり、マヨネーズも掛っているサラダが目の前に.フライになっているのがモヤシか?食べていて食感が良く気持ち良いのだが最後まで正体は解らず.なかなか良し.鮪、蛸、烏賊と白身の刺身は普通に旨い.金太郎の名物である鶏レバーの串焼やつくね、レバ、ハツ、シロのタレ焼、葱真、砂肝、ハツの塩焼と焼物がやって来た.名物の通り、レバーは臭みも無くタレが頃合い良くとても旨い.ハツもシロも軟らかく麦酒の宛に最高!
麦酒だとお腹イッパイになっちゃうので、焼酎の一升瓶を注文.野球に関わって来た同級生らしく、鹿児島の芋焼酎「鉄腕稲尾」と言い、鹿児島の薩摩の酒造「梅屋」が、剛腕稲尾和久の名に恥じない焼酎を作りたいと、金千貫芋を原料にキレのある白麹仕込で焼酎を作ったようです.呑み口当たり良く、水割りで飲み続ける.鮭のホイル焼が一人一つ来た.椎茸、シメジ、榎木茸と茸三種で鮭の全容が解らなかったが、鮭の半切身と茸がホイルに包まれ焼かれている.薄味で焼酎にバッチリ.鰤大根、赤ウィンナー蛸脚が来るが、結構腹一杯になって来た.赤ウィンナーが焼に焼かれて表面がカリッとして食感が良く懐かしい味.
送別されている同級生が、おススメのオリジナル厚揚(絹豆腐揚)を頼む.豆腐自体が絹ごしの軟らかいので、厚揚がプルんとして気持ち良い.後半戦は、軽めのキャベツ味噌、モロキュウ、大蒜漬、キムチ、海老煎餅などが立て続けに卓に出て来る.皆、異動するメンバーとの思い出話が繰り広げられ酔いも回って声も大きい.最後に山芋素麺がやって来た.軽くサラッと冷たく喉越し良い.約三時間の宴会時間もアッと言う間に終わりがやって来た.連休前の木曜日.この後にも宴会が続くようで、慌ただしく呑み食いを済ませ、異動する面々との挨拶も終了し、新橋の雑踏へ三三五五消えていった.来週はもう同じ職場には居ない.寂しい金太郎での別れの門出でした.
