叔母が身を寄せている長男宅に行く前に、母と2人きりで食事をすべく、浦和出身のマイレビ様に
ご相談させていただくと、北浦和の閑静な住宅街にある二木屋さんをご紹介してくださいました。
昭和10年建築の建物は、日本国登録有形文化財に指定され増築を経て現在に至ります。この格調
高い日本家屋で目にも美しい会席料理がいただけるとあって、母もとても楽しみにしていました。
間違いのないよう調べましたところこの屋敷の主は、自民党最初の内閣で当時の厚生大臣である
小林英三氏で、その母が私達もよく知っている料理研究家の小林カツ子さんで、講演や料理教室
を行なっていました。平成10年に建物そのままに始めた二木屋さんは、100年前のカツ子さんが
残されたレシピを元に再現した料理が楽しめると、全国から大勢のファンが訪れるとのことです。
季節の食材を楽しめる会席料理と、日本の懐かしい和の暮らしを支える五節句をはじめとする
年中行事や歳時を大切にした室礼は、訪れた人に食の楽しみをより鮮明に伝えてくれています。
訪れるたびに変わる「室礼12ヵ月」のおもてなしである室礼とは、季節やハレの日のお祝い等に
お花や調度品などを飾って楽しむもので、もてなす側の遊び心と表現されるものでもあります。
二木屋さんでは、1月は干支、3月はお雛様、5月は武者人形と毎月変わる「室礼12ヵ月」を設け
新しい試みにも挑戦し続けておられ、結納等の大切なご会食に利用されることも多いそうです。
平日ランチタイムは、11時~13時10分、13時10分~15時10分の2部制。店内は椅子席のお座敷
の他、和の個室、最大9名迄ご利用可の円卓テーブルの個室もあり、用途や目的に応じて様々な
お部屋を選べます。高齢者やお体の不自由な方、お子様用の椅子や食器も揃っており安心です。
ランチコースは6種類。3500円~9800円で、母も私も量を食べられないので1番お安い「好百々」
これは12月の上旬ですが、献立は毎月変わりますので、現在は1月の献立になっているでしょう。

1番お値段がお安く量の少ないコースですが、この雰囲気とこのおもてなしにこのお味、充分な
美味しさに加えて量的にも大満足です。男性であってもご飯と赤出汁をおかわりすれば問題なし。
私達の担当の男性は、とても紳士的で穏やかでスマートな対応。食事が始まる前には、料理長が
自ら席まで挨拶に来て下さり、優雅にのんびり食事ができ素晴らしい寛ぎの時間を過ごせました。
