久し振りの柳家に訪れた、大好きな初夏の味を堪能しに・・・水曜からの長距離自動車移動(1,100km)から帰った翌日、身体はガタピシ言ってるが名鉄~JRと乗り継ぎ11:15集合駅に到着。迎えのバスを待つ。梅雨時期の薄曇り、ジッとしてても額に汗が浮く。駅前には柳家目的と思われる他集団も・・・通された部屋は残念ながら窓が無く、しかし囲炉裏を担当してくれるのは先代女将、お会いするのは実に40年ぶりだろうか???囲炉裏中央では正に食べ頃となる串打ちされた郡上産天然アユが我々を迎えてくれた。天然アユの三種(塩焼き、開き、丸干し)に始まり、夏野菜、山菜、天然アユの天麩羅。鹿ヒレとウリ坊の焼物と続き、名物天然鰻の蒲焼(今回は長良川)養殖ブランド鰻の街に住む私もこの味にはノックダウン。ご飯物が天然鰻のタレご飯、天然山菜の炊き込みご飯、一口猪ロースカレーと続くが肉物の少ない献立はジィちゃんの胃にも優しく腹パンとなった♪
やはり柳家は初夏と秋口がイイねぇ。
