この日は週末の土曜日で千歳市内の食べ歩き二軒目に訪問。事前リサーチで北の華は千歳市食べログ全グルメでNo.2とお寿司部門でNo.1と言うことでここに決定‼本当は事前予約するべきだが急遽思い立って千歳に行ったのと一軒目の時間があり予約せず訪問。時間は21時頃のためカウンター席がちょうど空いてるとのことでラッキー♪小綺麗な店内はカウンター8席ほどと奥には座敷がしきりで数席あるようだ。ちょうど宴会らしき団体がいてちょっと賑やかな様子。
カウンター席に座りまずは日本酒をオーダーする。ここのウリはカウンター席限定のおまかせメニューと新千歳空港が近いので全国のいいお魚が空輸されてくるので新鮮なネタが食べれるとのこと。と言うことでおまかせは9千円、7千円、5千円の3コースあるけど二軒目なので5千円のコースをお願いする。
⚫ニセコ彗星550円…ニセコ好きな自分にはまずはこれから。やっぱりカウンターで日本酒は幸せな気分だ♪
⚫雲丹ととろろともずく…最初に出て来たのがグラスに盛られたお通しが素晴らしい♪一番下にはもずく、真ん中にはとろろ、一番上には生雲丹のミルフィーユ。いきなりの生雲丹にテンション上がる♪雲丹は甘くてとろけ、とろろともずくの相性も良くて日本酒がすすむ。
⚫お造り4種盛り…羽幌産赤縞海老、たこ頭と足、平目、ほや赤。赤縞海老は普段食べることのないレア感やプリっプリで二尾ありミソまで楽しめる♪たこも二種類、平目も弾力あり新鮮。そしてほやも珍しくクセも少なく鮮度良し。
⚫銀だらの幽庵焼き(醤油ベース)…ここで焼き物の銀だらが。あまり馴染みのない幽庵焼きだが表面が醤油で焼き上げていて甘さもある。身もふっくらやわらかくて河がパリパリしていて美味しい♪
⚫伯楽星(特別純米)650円…二合目の日本酒は宮城県のお酒で‼和食はやっぱり日本酒が合う♪
⚫梅の茶碗蒸し…熱々の器に蒸されて出て来た茶碗蒸しは開けてみると彩の三つ葉も何も具が見えない。何の茶碗蒸しか食べていくと何と大きな梅が…実は大の梅嫌いの自分にとって何で茶碗蒸しに頼によって入っているのかと気分下がっていたけどこの梅が食べてみると甘々の梅だ。こんな甘い梅とシンプルな他の具材のない茶碗蒸しとの相性が良く意外にもいけました。
【握り】
⚫平目のエンガワ…握りの一貫目のエンガワは大振りで透明感が凄いし食感がいい♪
⚫まぐろの剥がし…ボストン産300㌔級の大物まぐろの中トロと赤身の筋除いたもの。これも北の華ならではの空輸でいいネタに拘るお店ならでは。
⚫オオミゾ貝…網走産であまり聞きなれないネタで最初はほっき貝かなと思ったので聞いてみたらオオミゾ貝だという。食感もほっき貝に似ている。
⚫しめさば…北海道では珍しいなと思っていたら東京湾のさば。いいものを幅広く仕入れしている。
⚫北海シマエビ…厚岸産の北海シマエビは大好きでお鮨のネタとしては珍しいかも。プリっプリで甘くて美味しかった‼
⚫いくら…定番だが味付けも良かった。
⚫穴子(白焼きとタレ)…お店の自慢のネタが穴子。この穴子を二等分にしてタレと塩焼で頂きました。ふっくらやわらかくて二度楽しめて良かった♪
⚫お碗(海老とまぐろの赤味噌)
5千円のコースでおつまみ4品と握り7貫と十分なボリュームとコース内容で大満足する。すすきのならお酒も飲んで1万円オーバーの内容も締めて6700円ならかなりお得だ。空港からでも車で10分程とタクシーでも気軽に来れる距離なのでオススメ出来るお鮨屋です。ちなみに今回は雲丹ととろろともずく、まぐろの剥がしと北海シマエビの握りが最高でした♪
