博多西中洲の裏通り、福徳稲荷の横を入って左にまがる。やや裏手の道、落ち着いた外観で入ると6席のカウンターのみ。板場と接客を30代のイケメンの大将が1人でしきる。料理はコースの3種類がお薦めだが、刺身や焼き魚などの単品もある。今回は、竹コース。料理は、全体的に甘めの味付けだが、大将は真面目に調理しており手抜きはない。4種小鉢の前菜や、おつくりに鯛と鮪の鮮魚と熟成を並べたりと手が込んでいる。和風の料理が続いていると思いきや、ビーフシチューが出たりして面白い。〆は柳川風豚丼これにしじみ汁が着いてうまい。博多の料理屋は料理のレベルは高いのだがややうるさく落ち着かないことが多い。この店はまだ常連客が少ないようだが静かでCPも良好であり、大将の接客も丁寧で、ゆったりと食事したいときは絶好の穴場だろう。
