ベルギーへ料理の修行に旅立ったのは1964年、「東京オリンピック」開催の年でした。
ベルギーでの修行の後、当店脇に今も残る狭い路地で「スタンド三河家」という小さな洋食店を1969年開業しました。
その後、ビル建て替えに伴い一時休業。
それを機に、ベルギ―帰国後から温めていたアイディアを活かすべく、ベルギー料理専門店として、『シェ・ミカワ』は、1987年に開業しました。
以来、ベルギーの料理とビールが気軽に楽しめる店として、多くのお客様に支えられ今日に至っております。
ベルギーはビールの国です。種類が豊富でかつ個性的なものが多くあります。
現在700種類以上もあると言われているベルギービールですが、当店ではその中から厳選し、常時20数種のビールをご用意しております。そしてそれに合うベルギー料理と旬の食材を使ったお料理をお届けしています。
肩ひじ張らず、気軽にお越しいただけるお店にしたいという考えは開業当時から変わりません。お越しいただいた際は、小さな国ベルギーの文化の香りを少しでも感じていただけれは幸いです。
