Irresistible for sake lovers! No matter when you come, you'll find different brands than the last time. The owner, who is a sake taster, carefully selects each brand of sake from breweries and liquor stores across the country using his own hands and tastes. We handle over 300 brands of sake each year, including seasonal sake, premium brands, and limited edition sake.
Food Organic vegetables picked in the morning directly from the farm.
We directly purchase healthy and safe vegetables that are grown organically and do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers, from a farm in Izu located on the rich land overlooking Suruga Bay, which spreads out at the southern foot of Hakone. We carry a wide variety of fresh, strong, and rare vegetables.
Food Fresh fish bought in boxes and delivered directly to you before it hits the market
Fresh seafood caught on a day trip from Japan's coastal waters is shipped directly to restaurant before being put on the market. Because we buy selection box, we sometimes get super high-quality fish that we don't usually get. Our sashimi soy sauce is hand-made Tosa soy sauce with a gentle taste that goes well with white fish.
Food Enjoy Iwai chicken, Iwate's local chicken, seared, grilled, or fried!
We use "Iwai chicken" raised with love in the clear natural environment surrounded by mountains on all sides at the foot of Mt. Nemuro in the Iwai region of southern Iwate Prefecture. The meat has a slight sweetness and richness, and remains moist and juicy even when cold. At our restaurant, you can enjoy Iwai chicken cooked in various ways such as grilled, fried, and seared!
We carry 300 brands of local sake and over 100 types of shochu every year recommended by the owner of Kizakeshi!
