Food Directly delivered from Nagasaki [Atago mackerel]
Mackerel raised with brown sugar mixed in feed contains about 1.5 to 1.3 times more oleic acid, which is famous for olive oil, and free amino acids, which give umami and sweetness, than ordinary fish, making it an unprecedented sweet with a rich yet refreshing aftertaste. The fat from the fish will make the fish last longer. It also has less fishy odor, so even children and women who dislike fish can eat it without any hesitation.
