The stove, also known as ``kudo,'' was located in the middle of the kitchen of the townhouses where the people of Kyoto lived, and was a tool that made the food that sustains life even more delicious
...and enriched life. People respected and loved Kudo, which was the center of their lives, and began to call it "Okudo-san" by adding "O" at the beginning and "san" at the end. At our store, we have incorporated our desire to help enrich the lives of the people of Urawa into the name ``Okudo-san.''
