"Maewari shochu" is a shochu that has been mixed in advance with the brewer's water at a ratio of 5:5 to 6:4 and aged. The shochu and water blend together, giving you a mellow taste. The water for preparation is from Nishi Sake Brewery in Kagoshima, which is known for ``Takayama.'' We serve it in a ``Kurochiyoka'' sake cup made using the black Satsuma method.
