In the back streets of Namba, there is a small, charming Western-style building that exudes a French atmosphere, characterized by its yellow walls and brick. The impressive building of Crêperie Alshon was constructed in 1952.

The intricate designs of grapes and ribbons applied to the staircase handrails and walls were meticulously carved by craftsmen of the time, inspired by the image of France. These are precious items that can no longer be created today.

Crepes and galettes both originated in the Brittany region of France. While crepes are made from wheat flour, galettes are characterized by being made from buckwheat flour.

I started "Creperie Alshon" because of the authentic crepes I first tasted in France and the ones I had on the streets of Japan. The stark difference left me amazed, and ever since that moment, my des...ire to share the genuine flavors of France has only grown. That's how Creperie Alshon was born.
