Food Healthy ingredients without any ``specialties'' are delicious enough on their own.
Ingredients that are grown freely and without any "commitment" are healthy and beautiful. Nothing is added to it, nothing is subtracted from it, the original ``what is'' is natural and there is no pretension. I feel strangely nostalgic about just grilling such ingredients over charcoal. ``Hamajima'' is a natural shop with no ``commitments''.

Local sake in Mie Prefecture is still alive today, thanks to the long-standing techniques of the chief brewers. Roughly 60 sake breweries, mainly in the Iga Basin, where the temperature varies greatly, and the Hokusei region, where the Suzuka oroshi is popular, are changing the type and method of raw materials and repeating small-scale preparations. Some breweries are brewed by only one person, producing unique sake, but most of it is consumed locally. The excellent sake that is on par with other prefectures has taken root in the region.
