呑み屋の立ち食いカレーは、スパイス際立つイタリアン風。
夜は立ち呑みの店が、昼はカレー屋に顔を変える。つまりは立ち食いカレー屋。出されたカレーは「え？ ハヤシを注文したっけ」な赤いソース。表の看板には、水を一滴も加えずにトマトとヨーグルトで作ったチキンカレーとある。トマトの酸っぱさと甘さが凝縮されて、カレーというよりむしろイタリアン。チキンはかなり煮崩れて味に奥行きを出している。これはもう、カレーを超えた何か別の料理といってもいいのだが、スパイスの香り
