From there, cross the traffic lights to the ``Vision Glasses''. The entrance to Vision Glasses is on the south side of Oike Street. If you walk straight down Oike Street (towards Karasuma Oike) for about 200 meters (there is one traffic light and a set meal restaurant called "Miyamoto Munashi" along the way), you will see "MOA Oike Building" (Green Market Kyoto on the first floor) and "Izumi". Turn right (south) on Ogawa-dori, the street between the shops (the bakery is on the 1st floor). The third house counting from Izumi Shoten is ``Alley Oku Garden 168''. There is a small sign that says ``Lantern of Garden 168 at the back of the alley'', so please walk along the cobblestone alley for about 10 meters. Then, you will arrive at the entrance of [Alley Back Garden 168] where the noren curtain is hanging. ⛩ [Route from the Mikane Shrine exit] Once you have finished praying, walk to the right on "Nishinotoin-dori" for about 100 meters and you will arrive at "Oike-dori". Cross the traffic light to Takeda Motors (car repair shop) and walk about 50m to the right on the road in front of you (Oike-dori). Along the way, there is a photo studio and Curves (gymnastics class). Next, turn left (south) on Ogawa-dori, the road between Izumi Shoten (bakery on the 1st floor) and MOA Oike Building (Green Market Kyoto on the 1st floor). The third house counting from Izumi Shoten is ``Alley Oku Garden 168''. Food A fulfilling lunch with “Kyoto vegetables and obanzai” that is gentle on the body and mind
``Rice Lunch'' We make obanzai and miso soup by hand every morning using locally sourced ingredients such as ``Koshihikari from Kyotanba'' purchased from contracted farmers, and ``Kyoto vegetables and pickles'' purchased from farmers in Kameoka, Kyoto. This ``lunch meal'' is light in flavor and gentle on the body and mind, emphasizing the original taste of the ingredients. ``Bread Lunch'' uses ``brown rice bread'' baked by my friend, the owner of the long-established rice store ``Usami Rice Store'' in Kyoto. New Koshihikari rice from Kyotanba has arrived❗️
Food Famous fluffy and moist extra-thick rolled egg with dashi soup
Every morning, we carefully make a dashi stock using our own blend of bonito and kelp, then add the dashi to the maximum amount and bake the ``extremely thick dashi rolled egg.'' It has an elegant light flavor and is super fluffy and moist. It takes time because we bake each item one by one after receiving your order.

Although it is located in the center of Kyoto, you can walk through an alleyway and find yourself in a courtyard where you can enjoy a relaxing meal while feeling the cool autumn breeze on the open terrace.

The owner, who used to be a beer pub, offers a daily lineup of his favorite craft beers. We also have a wide range of whiskeys, including Japanese whiskey (Yamazaki 12 years old, Hakushu 12 years old). The bartenders will be happy to make cocktails according to your tastes, or to accommodate requests for cocktails that are not on the menu. Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available for those who cannot drink alcohol but would like to enjoy the atmosphere together. There are no service fees or charge fees, so you can easily enjoy just one drink.
