We purchase fresh seafood caught all over Hokkaido, with a focus on the waters around Hakodate facing the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan, and the Tsugaru Strait. A must-see is the performance where the live squid is shown to the customers and then cut into pieces. We also have ``sea urchin squid somen'' which is made with a special sauce for sea urchin and squid. We also recommend the ``Isobe-yaki Scallops'' created by our restaurant. A whole scallop is grilled in soy sauce, wrapped in a large piece of seaweed, and eaten with your hands.

We have a selection of carefully selected sake and shochu from all over the country, mainly local sake from Hokkaido, to go well with sushi and a la carte dishes. ``Goryo'' from the local Hakodate sake brewery ``Goryo no Kura,'' which opened last year, and ``Goho'' from ``Hakodate Jozo'' in the neighboring Nanae town are also popular. We also have a few limited edition bottles of sake available for local regulars to enjoy without getting bored.
