In 1974, Mr. Commander Takao, a chef from Hokkaido. After exploring cuisine in Hokkaido, France, Tokyo, and Shanghai, he opened "TAKAO" in Sapporo in 2015 and became the first Hokkaido Italian Cuisine restaurant to receive a 1-star star in the Michelin Guide Hokkaido 2017 at Gault & Millau 2021. Three winners in Japan have been selected for the Grand Chef of Tomorrow Award.With the theme of cooking from the forest and adding value to the forest, we will be promoting a new world of food, Hokkaido Gastronomy.
