I entered the world of cooking more than 30 years ago, learning Western and Chinese Western Cuisine at the largest hotel Restaurants at the time in my hometown of Iwanai during the day, and Japanese-style meal at a long-established Local Cuisine restaurant at night. At that time, the world of the kitchen was still a male-dominated world, and I am proud that the techniques that were harshly instilled in the era when people learned to cook with their eyes and bodies are still alive and well today.
