[Michelin 2018 Listed Restaurant] Enjoy delicious sake and delicious dishes. A famous Japanese restaurant with a history of 60 years, located in a back alley.
It has been about 60 years since we put up a noren curtain in the back alley of Nagarekawa, Hiroshima's busiest downtown area. Shirataka is one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the city. Its name
... comes from the fact that its predecessor, Yorozuya, was founded in the Taisho era and sold Nada's sake, Shirataka. It is said that when the first generation of the company was founded, they went to a sake brewery in Nada to ask for a favor and were given the name. Shirataka is still the face of the store, along with local Hiroshima sake. Pairing with such sake is a dish that shines with handicrafts. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious sake, delicious food, and a great atmosphere.
