Located near Gifu City's Yanagase Shopping Arcade, the setting for the popular song "Yanagase Blues," this yakitori restaurant attracts foodies from all over Japan, as well as locals. Owner Mizuki Jun
...ji gained experience at a famous Gifu restaurant before training at Nagoya's famous yakitori restaurant, "Sengame." In addition to his skills in butchering, skewering, and grilling that he inherited from his prestigious restaurant, he is also renowned for his discerning eye for ingredients, which he developed during his time as a Japanese chef. The chicken used is Omi Jidori chicken from Shiga, which has firm flesh and a strong flavor. Charcoal-grilled seasonal vegetables are also a proud dish.
