Jakenro is a Hiroshima Okonomiyaki specialty restaurant that just opened in 2014. Run by an owner from Hiroshima, it is one of the few restaurants in the Tokatsu area where you can eat authentic Hiros
...hima Okonomiyaki. The ingredients are also carefully selected. The noodles used are fresh noodles from Isono Seimen, shipped directly from Hiroshima. The thin bean sprouts, which are essential to Hiroshima Okonomiyaki are black mappe. The green onions are hydrangea onions, a local ingredient with plenty of sweetness. The sauce is, of course, Otafuku sauce. The Hiroshima style is to eat it directly from the hot iron plate with a spatula. All seats at our restaurant are served on a hot iron plate.
