ChefShibuya Eiko -classic French cuisine in a casual local setting
He was impressed by the French cuisine he ate with his family when he was a child, and aspired to become a chef. After graduating from culinary school, he joined "Le Petit Boudon" by the master André Passion. At the age of 30, he moved to France and returned to Japan after training at famous restaurants such as the three-star Restaurants. As a chef, he worked at Le Petit Boudon and was awarded the Gault & Millau Award. At the age of 35, he opened "Sous-sus" in his hometown. The taste is classic, and the mood is casual, showing off the Shibuya-style French cuisine that can only be tasted in Akita.

Chef Shibuya values the importance of the sauce and the fon that he learned from André Passion, the master of French cuisine, who is also his mentor. He uses French ingredients and techniques to create a taste that does not deviate from the core of classic. The pie crust of short black wagyu beef from Fukushima Prefecture's Emu Farm is a classic gem that combines the rich port sauce with the delicious flavor of the exquisitely cooked fillet. The course starts at 4,800 yen (dinner) for casual diners.

The wood-based space is furnished with Norcross tables and chairs, giving it the feel of Restaurants in the European countryside. Antique accessories are casually incorporated into the interior, and delicate, feminine touches are scattered throughout, and the counter kitchen, which brings you closer to the chef, also creates a relaxed atmosphere.
