この店の生簀にはその日獲れた鯛が泳いでいる。そこから網で大将が取り出してトンっと一発、フィッシュピックを刺してトドメを刺す。
ランチでも、その鯛をいただける。
という事で僕は「活け鯛めし御膳(税込2950円)」をオーダー。
このランチセットには鯛飯のほか、炊き合わせ、小鉢、吸い物、香の物、デザートが付く。
炊き合わせには「豚の角煮、大根、揚げ、菜の花、ほうれん草、なつめ、こんにゃく」が入る。
じっくり汁が染み込んで美味い。特に豚の角煮はなかなかの物。
小鉢は「サラダ」…基本は大根サラダだが、その中に水菜、人参が入る。胡麻ドレッシングでいただく。シャキシャキ食感で新鮮。
「吸い物」には玉子豆腐と青菜が入り、良い感じの出汁の味わい。大将、雰囲気と違って(失礼!)腕がある。
横に座っていた老夫婦も絶賛。「もっと来るようにする!」と言って帰って行った。
さてメインの「活け鯛めし」はご飯の上に鯛の刺身がのり、上には刻み海苔と大葉の千切りが乗り、横に醤油(甘口)が添えられている。
鯛の刺身を最初に一切れを食べた後、どんぶりに入っているご飯と鯛と玉子の黄身も海苔も大葉にもこの醤油を掛けて、かき混ぜる。
そして、下品に口の中、そして胃袋にぶっこむ。ホントぶっこむという感じが美味しいみたい。鯛を食べ終わると残りは玉子掛けご飯的な感じになってそれはそれで美味い。
胡瓜、茄子のお新香がアクセントに良い役割をしている。
赤だしは普通にも美味いし、口直しにも良い。
デザートは「みかんのシャーベット」…口の中もサッパリしてとても美味しい。
初訪問のお店だったので、僕は最初は様子を見ながらおとなしく食事が出るのを待っていた。
饒舌なご主人が色々話しかけてくれたので、グッと楽になり、初対面なのに会話が弾み話は尽きない…。
味も良し、ホスピタリティも良し。また来たくなるお店。
