名古屋は天ぷらの名店が多い、東京に移転したくすのき、食べログ天ぷら2位のにい留、あやめ、心来、よこいもすばらしい。
そんな中、新しい天ぷらの名店が矢田駅から5分にできた。まだ30代半ばの大将は4年前にお店を作られ、そのお店は割烹店として残し、新たに天ぷら専門店をすぐそばに開業した。若いのにたいしたものだ。
天ぷらのコースは3300円、4400円、5500円、上の2つはお刺身付と天ぷらのみが選べる

天ぷら屋のお刺身は食べる意味がないので天ぷらのみ
衣はとても薄くかりっと、一流の天ぷらである。東京で5000円という値段で天ぷらを食べると殆どのお店が残念と思ってしまう。名古屋のお店は物価が違うというかさすがである。
油はあっさりともたれない、素材の邪魔をしない仕上げになっている。ヤマイモは練ったもので、この天ぷらは珍しい。値段が安いだけに素材はそこそこなのだが、天ぷら自体の旨さは秀でている。
天丼は、塩をかけて、それからわさびをつけて、タレをかけて、最後はお茶漬けと楽しむようにできていてこれがまた結構いい。
2016年、2017年となごやめしの大会で2年連続優勝という快挙を成し遂げた大将。これからどう発展していくか楽しみだ
