日本料理がベースなのかイタリア料理が基本なのかよく判らないが、店主は日本で料理の修業をした後、イタリアで修行した。イタリア料理手法がオリエンタル料理を生んだのだろう。そういえばイタリア映画に山猫というのがある。それがこの店の名前の理由だろうか?
料理は基本15000円一本。時間限定人数限定の4300円コースもあるようだ。お酒は基本的におまかせ3,000円、約13種類でてくる。すこしずつ注ぐが、台の上に乗せるとお変わりができる。なのでワイン1本分以上はゆうに飲んでしまう。

今日は、雲南省のいい松茸がたまたま手に入ったという。輸入なのにまだみずみずしさが少し残り香り高くおいしかった。鮎も苦味たっぷりでとてもおしい。
味付けはあっさりしているが、すっきりしているわけではない。シンプルだがしっかりと強い味がする。食材はかなりいいものを揃えており、食材費だけでもかなりかかっているのはよくわかる。
お店はダンボール山積みで飾らない。弟子は現在2人だが人件費も抑えている。それでお客さんが喜んでくれれば、それが大将の気持ちだろう
