カウンターで食べるお鮨や目の前で揚げてもらいながら食べる天麩羅の様に憧れる、絵になる食べ方ってありますよね。今回はバースデーということで、そんな憧れる食べ方の一つである、個室でお店の方に作ってもらったすき焼きを食べるという憧れを叶えることができました。
憧れを叶えたお店は、創業100年を超える名店である、いし橋さんです。今回は霜降りとロースのお肉を1人前ずつ、二人で分けながら頂かせてもらったのですが、ロースは口に入れ軽く上から触るとあっという間にとろける感じで、霜降りは口に入れるだけでとろける感じです。こう書くと霜降りの方が美味しく感じられますが、ハッキリと違いはあるものの、ここまでくるとどちらも美味しいです。ついてくれた仲居さんも、好みの火の通り具合を聞いてくれたり、こちらの要望にも沿ってくれましたし、気持ちよく食事できました。
また、最後に食べたオジヤも肉の旨みを十分含んでいる部分もあれば、あっさりとした卵とごはんだけの部分もあり、見た目よりもしつこくなくお腹が一杯になった後でも、スルッと食べられます。頻繁には行けないですが、一定の期間ごとに行きたくなるようなお店です。ごちそうさまでした。
